This year’s Twin Towers @live 2013 KLCC Concert was a bigger success compared to last year. The house was packed with spectators and excited fans screaming for their favorite act.

Let’s begin with Day 1 where K-Pop group, U-Kiss had the girls in an ear-shattering scream as they obsess over them.

One of the band member through a towel to the crowd and we caught these girls fighting over it. See what I mean?

Rain came pouring down a couple of hours before Demi Lovato was due on stage. The fans got restless with the mediocre selection of music spun by a DJ on stage (for 45 minutes – mind you there was no act on stage by then), but no one dared leave as they all wanted a glimpse of Demi.

Finally, Ms. Lovato appears on stage around 11pm and dazzles the fans with her performance. She even got a little personal and told the story of her struggles with eating disorder and depression, and encouraged the fans to get help if they needed, too.

Her on-stage persona made her relatable and fans were certainly left mesmerized by her.

Day 2 arrives, and the arena was packed with a bigger crowd.

2NE1 becomes the first international act to grace the stage that evening. Similar to U-Kiss, more ear-shattering screams were heard that night.

The group consisting of 4 girls kept the fans pumping with fast-beat music. They performed a total of 6 songs, which was extremely short in comparison to the previous evening’s performances by another K-Pop group.

And then comes the Backstreet Boys. What can I say? Other than the fact their performance was an absolutely BOMB.

Yes, that’s right. I’m a fan. In fact, the whole Elements team is CRAZY about them (even our male photographer can’t deny their epicness). In our eyes, they complete exceeded our expectations.

The boys took us back down to memory lane and sang their classic hits from way back for the entire set. I have to admit, I was so overwhelmed with emotion I may have shed a few tears (as did my fellow co-editor, Aggie).

From songs such as, “Quit Playing Games with My Heart” to “The One”, the boys entertained the crowd with their singing, which really turned out to be a big karaoke session with the audiences.

Halfway through their set, they invited three lucky-, ehem, girls on stage while they serenaded them with “I’ll Never Break Your Heart”. Haven’t the slightest clue how or when they selected the girls, but it seemed like only one of them really knew the lyrics to the song.

Anyway, jealousy aside, plenty more hits were performed and the boys ended the night with a big bang, (big enough to create a whole other universe) with the number, “Backstreet’s Back (Everybody)”.

All in all, I think it’s safe to say that after that night, everyone left feeling rather satisfied.
