Hi Rebecca! Tell us a bit about yourself!
I have been a photographer professionally for a few years now and consider myself extremely lucky to have found my passion at such a young age. I am so very excited about my career in photography and being that I am so young I have never been so determined.

When did you discover your passion for photography?
I picked up photography by accident in high school. As a freshmen like everyone else I was trying to fill up my schedule with random (easy) electives. I ended up taking photo class for 3 years and decided it was something I wanted to pursue. I can easily say it became an addiction. After class all I wanted was to learn more, shoot more, and achieve better images than my last set.

Where do you get inspirations for your shoots?
Inspirations for my shoots often come from a vision I hold in my head. As far as fashion goes with clothing I have always been into creating my own style based off of the things bought in the store to then become my own fashion statement. Needless to say I have an eye for it and I apply that to every shoot. Other inspirations for my photoshoots come from magazine spreads, inspirational photographers, and phenomenal models around the world.

What do you have to tell from your photos?
There is no specific message I will send through my photos, generally I want people to see my effort. I want my fans to see that with each photo shoot I strive to do my best in my own individual style.

What are your favourite tools and equipment to work with?
Equipment is such a huge part of achieving great images. I do keep the amount I use minimal but I have to say the magic of a photo is in the unknown... I will mention however, I am Team Nikon!

How would you describe your photography style?
When looking at color in my photos I find that I am more attracted to a bright and vintage style photo than anything else. The liveliness you can give a photo with making brightness adjustments is amazing. The vintage style gives it my touch of originality.

What do you do during your free time besides taking pictures?
Besides taking photos, I do work a full time job aside of photography that keeps me busy 40 hours of the week! I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, boyfriend, and my puppy! I also have a passion for psychology and am working towards a degree in the field beginning my journey at Front Range Community College and looking to finish at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

What would you do if you win a million dollars?
If I won a million dollars oh boy! That would make me a very happy lady! First I would buy a house, then a car and the rest of the essentials I need. Then you bet I will be getting a new camera body, equipment and I might even open up a studio! As selfish as this all is, I will gladly put a large portion of the money to helping troubled youth which relates to the degree I'm trying to get through school.
