2 JUNE 2010

Guatemala City was hit hard by Tropical Storm Agatha, and a large sinkhole developed in the middle of the city, swallowing a three story building and a home.

The sinkhole is 60 feet across and is expected to grow larger in the coming days. Experts say that the sinkhole could even swallow more buildings in the future.

Tropical Storm Agatha claimed over 100 lives, but it’s uncertain whether or not there were any missing individuals inside the building that was swallowed by the sinkhole.

  3. and imagine the noise? like, you're walking down the street and - kaboom! - the earth just opens up and swallows a building next to you or something.

i'd definitely consider it a sign from above. just don't know how i would translate it :)
